Minimum viable finish

A student should leave with a short playable obby and at least one edited gameplay clip.

Coach triage

  • If building falls behind, shorten the obby so recording can still happen.
  • If video editing stalls, make a simple sequence: title, best clip, end card.
  • If a student is ahead, have them add voiceover or a cleaner thumbnail/title.

Common stuck points

  • Students may record before the game has a clear start and finish.
  • Mac screen recording permissions can block capture.
  • Exporting video takes time; start checks before parent arrival.
