At a glance

DayBlocksGoal

2Stage 3, Stage 4, Stage 5The obby gains paths, KillBricks, and fireball systems.
3Stage 6, Stage 7, Stage 8Students script hidden hazards, rocks, and spinners.
4Stage 9, Stage 10, catch-upStudents finish kinetic obstacles and the puzzle room.
5Debugging, polish, parent demoStudents explain one build choice and one script choice.

Minimum viable finish

A student should leave with a playable obby that includes at least three scripted systems and a visible finish.

Coach triage

  • If scripts pile up, pause for a naming and Explorer cleanup pass.
  • If a student is behind, keep the core obby path playable before adding extra scripts.
  • If a student is ahead, have them tune one hazard for fairness and explain the numbers.

Common stuck points

  • Advanced learners may over-customize before the base system works.
  • A single typo in a part name can break a whole script.
  • Testing with Play Here helps debug late-stage obstacle spacing.
