Block 1: Recap + warmup
Prompt: "Show your neighbor the part you finished yesterday."
Blocks 2-5: Build blocks 3-5
Goal: students add three new systems or features to the same project.
What to say:
"Today is faster. After each feature, run the project and check that yesterday's work still works."
Watch for:
- Students creating a new project instead of continuing yesterday's.
- Small mistakes that compound because students do not run often.
- Fast students who need stretch choices.
Transition cue: most of the room has a working feature and can explain what changed.
Block 6: Peer playtest swap
Goal: students test work-in-progress projects and give useful feedback.
What to say:
"Play or inspect two classmates' projects. Find one thing that works well and one thing that could be clearer."
Block 7: Wrap + reflection
Round-robin: "One thing that surprised me today was..."
Preview: "Tomorrow we add depth, polish, and more personal choices."
