Coach Pack — Roblox Part 1

Everything you need to run Launch Your Own Obby Game as a 5-day summer camp.

The format

  • 5 days × 3 hours/day = 15 hours total.
  • Day 5's last hour is the parent demo. That leaves 14 hours of working time (840 min).
  • Audience: mixed-ability room, ages 7–13.
    • The default content (the main body of each stage) is paced for ages 7–9.
    • The two Stretch Challenges per stage (Medium + Hard) are for ages 10–13 and kids who finish fast.

How the pack is organized

  • Day 1 — Intro, Setup, Stage 1, Stage 2
  • Day 2 — Stage 3, Stage 4, Stage 5
  • Day 3 — Stage 6, Stage 7, Stage 8
  • Day 4 — Stage 9, Stage 10, Stretch picks
  • Day 5 — Polish + Parent demo
  • Parent demo prep — what each kid shows, room setup, morning checklist
  • Buffer activities — 12 reusable mini-challenges to pull when a stage runs short

How to use each day page

Each Day N page has:

  1. At a glance — a minute-by-minute table you can keep visible.
  2. Per-block notes — what to say at the start, what to watch for (slow kids, fast kids, common stuck points), and the transition cue to the next block.
  3. End-of-day reflection — a quick round-robin prompt.

Front-load pacing

The schedule is 2-3-3-2 + demo (not strict 2/day):

DayStages coveredWhy
1Setup + Stage 1-2Soft start while kids learn Studio
2Stage 3-5Their hands are warm — push pace
3Stage 6-8Same
4Stage 9-10 + Stretch picksDay 9 + 10 are the longest. Stretch time lets faster kids show off and slower kids catch up.
5Polish + Parent demoReserve almost all of Day 5 for celebration

Things to do before Day 1

  • Email parents the format and demo time.
  • Make sure every machine has Roblox Studio installed and signed into a working account.
  • Print this pack (or have it open on a second screen).
  • Walk through Stage 1 yourself in Studio — first time you do anything live, you'll be glad you rehearsed.
  • Decide on room theme: jungle, space, neon, ice. Mention it on Day 1 so kids can use it across their Obby. Optional but kids love it.

What to keep nearby during camp

  • The course on https://creatorshub.app — bookmark /docs/roblox-part1/intro.
  • The Stretch Challenge sections of each stage — for kids who finish early.
  • The Buffer activities page — for when a whole-room slot ends up too short.
