Terms of Service

Creator Hub (creatorshub.app) is run by theCoderSchool for its enrolled students and staff. By using the site you agree to these terms. For a student under 18, the parent or guardian who signed the enrollment form agrees on the student's behalf.

Accounts​

  • A student account is created only for a child enrolled at the centre, after a parent or guardian has signed the enrollment form.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Tell a coach if you think someone else knows it; a coach can reset it.
  • Staff accounts are created by invitation from the centre. Signing in with Google does not create an account.
  • The centre may suspend or remove an account when a student leaves, when the rules are broken, or at a parent's request.

Using the site​

  • Follow the rules for this site.
  • Courses are gated by enrollment so that progress is tracked per student. That gate is for progress tracking; it is not a promise that lesson content is confidential.
  • Course content belongs to theCoderSchool. Students may use it for learning. Copying a course to publish or resell it is not allowed.
  • What you build in Roblox Studio, Python, Scratch or another tool is yours.

Rewards​

Learning earns XP. The Reward Store offers optional rewards from theCoderSchool when funded inventory is available. Rewards are a gift from the centre, not a payment from Roblox, and the Rewards terms apply.

Buying a course online​

Where online purchase is offered, payment is taken by Stripe under Stripe's terms; the site never sees the card. A purchase opens the course for the account that bought it. Refunds are handled by the centre and close the course again.

Third-party tools​

Some courses use tools run by other companies (Roblox, Scratch, Trinket and others). Their own terms apply when you use them. Where a course uses an account the centre owns, the centre stays responsible for that account and can change or withdraw it.

Privacy​

How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy and, for children under 13, the Children's Privacy Notice.

Availability and changes​

The site is provided as is. It may be updated, paused or changed at any time; progress is saved to the account and is not lost by an update. These terms may change; the version date at the top records when.
